I am currently considering the following bags that I can use for both weekends and work:

1. Moynat mini Rejane in black or madder
2. Dior my lady Dior in black or red
3. Delvaux mini Tempete in black or lipstick red

I like smaller lightweight shoulder bags that I can also wear cross-body.

Which one would you get?? I can't decide!! :-)

What a delightful dilemma! I own the Tempête in MM and the petit Réjane, so not exactly your specs for size. I prefer small bags too, but the mini Moynat model is really very small. You’d have to try it out to see whether it would hold your essentials. IMO the Moynat is slightly more casual than the Delvaux model, and the Delvaux is slightly easier to access contents because the flap is not as deep as with the Moynat bag. As for Dior, don’t own one, but I think the quality of either the Delvaux or Moynat bag will be higher than Dior, and they are both more unusual and under-the-radar in most markets. If the Dior has a zip opening, that might be a consideration for you. I personally find the Dior design quite busy with the quilting, decorated strap, and Dior charms, while the others are more sleek and sophisticated. Good luck deciding!

I love that Moynat bag! So chic and yet sturdy-looking, and a lovely colour! I agree with JolieS that the Dior is quite busy. I think the shorter flap on the Delvaux might be annoying if you had to carry it open for whatever reason, as it would pull the whole top of the bag up.

Thanks for your thoughts @JolieS! Do you find your Rejane or Tempete more practical and durable for everyday use?

I think the mini tempete may be too small as it is not as deep as the mini brillant. I was considering between those 2, but chose the brillant at the end. Although it’s small, it’s still bigger than the Chanel square mini flap.

I agree with jolieS about the quality of the Delvaux. I don’t have any Moynat and Lady Dior bags so I can’t comment on their quality.

Good luck with your decision and please keep us posted.

I personally dislike black edgekote on coloured leather, which is fine on contemporary bags since they are mass manufactured but if it’s a luxury brand, I expect them to match the colour. So for that reason, the red Tempète and Dior over the Réjane. If you’re buying black, then I think they are quite similar. If you ever want to sell down the line, I think the Dior will be easier to sell since it is better known.

My Lady Dior hands down. I own one (as well as one in the medium size) and I love this bag. The MLD version is more user-friendly than the medium and I love the crossbody strap. The charms are so cute too and I like how you can customize it.

One advantage is that it looks great as an evening bag and also cute as a daytime crossbody bag. I don't care for the other two designs.

You have great taste! your choices are all timeless classics. You mentioned that you want something for both work n weekends. I will prefer delvaux for this reason. It looks sophisticated when handheld and very chic when used crossbody.
