Delightful damier ebene - defect? Repair?

Hi y’all
I got my delightful damier ebene out of my closet and found these cracks on the top trim. Same area by the handle rings on both sides. Anyone else had the same issue? Have you had the trim replaced and can tell me what the repair cost?

This bag was barely used so I’m surprised to find them. It is about 6 years old.

You can always ask LV, they might also say it’s wear and tear, that happened to a friend of mine on her Neverfull after just only 2 years :/

They may more likely say wear and tear if they find out it only 6 years old.
I would see a cobbler to fix the leather or the leather restoring pen might be a good idea.

I’m going to a boutique tomorrow so I’ll find out. Just find it odd it’s in the same exact spots on both sides
