Thank you!You now have a super unique bag!
Thanks! Yes, maybe it will get some use now.I'd never have guessed that you dyed it, or that you did it yourself - it looks great! If it means you'll be enjoying your bag and wearing it rather than leaving it stuck in the wardrobe I think it's a good thing to doyou've given it a new lease of life

I used Fiebings dye. I was worried about that, so I put a coat of sealent on and it worked. No dye transfer at all. Only thing is, the smell isn't great so I have the bag sitting in front of an open window. Hope that will help!Great job. May I ask what dye you used? Any concern of it rubbing off on your clothes?
Thanks!I think it looks great (but I loved the old zipper pulls)!
This is GORGEOUS! How long did it take you? How in the world did you dye the zippers???!?!?View attachment 3739124 One more pic. . .
Hi. Yes I have had that experience in the past with dying too. But with this one the leather is still lovely, smooshie, & soft. Not really any different. Not sure why. I know that Chloe uses awesome leather. Maybe something to do with the leather quality?Do you find that the dye changed the texture of the leather at all? I had an old stained MK camel coloured bag dyed black and it looks fine but the softness is gone. Oh well, I was over the big chunky logo anyway.
Thanks! I just used the same Fiebings leather dye with a small paint brush. It was quickly and easily absorbed. This is GORGEOUS! How long did it take you? How in the world did you dye the zippers???!?!?
