Ladies, I absolutely love the way the MK Hamilton tote looks. It is a classy bag and would be a great asset to my collection. However, it just does not flatter me! At all. :cry:

Has anyone else had this problem? I really want it to work for me. I am nearly 5'11 so I prefer big bags. I am average size, on the "fluffy" side when I pick up a few pounds. It looks goofy on me!

I've tried black and the blue color. No luck. Maybe I should try the smaller size?

Sometimes a bag is beautiful to look at but the design just doesn't work for every frame...i would definitely try the smaller if you love the style, and then maybe take a second look while in the store at the larger size just in case....all bags aren't for everyone ;)

I'm like you, tall and prefers big bags! I find that the large tote looks almost a tad too big on my frame sometimes. I just got mine so I am hoping that as it develops a slouch it will look better. I tried on the smaller Hamilton but am not sure about it yet. I love the larger size since I like to carry around everything except a kitchen sink.

Try the smaller one on at the store. I personally feel like its too small for my belongings. Maybe it would be better for days when I don't need to lug all of my stuff around with me.

Have you tried any of the brighter colors?

You just described me and I LOOOOOOOOVE my XL Hamilton in Luggage. I get so many compliments on it and it gives a sophisticated "diva" look. lol I think an EW would look better than a NS on my frame in a Large, but nothing smaller. I love the slouchy look of the XL makes it even more flattering for my fuller frame.

As far as I understand it, the Hamilton tote most people have is NS, while the satchel is considered EW because it is wider than it is tall, so it's biggest in the EW direction. I've also seen pics of a large hamilton that seems to be as tall as the tote but much wider, so it is EW.

This is a great suggestion. Look into the XL hamilton...a lot of models wear it, and you might like it a lot!

I love the style of the Hamilton, too, but I returned the one that I had purchased (mocha), as it didn't suit my frame. I see pictures of the Hamilton on the ladies here and am soooo, super jealous (looks spectacular on them--not on me!).

I can definitely relate!

Thanks all the comments and advice, ladies. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who has trouble with the Hamilton.

I haven't tried any bright colors but I might like those better. I think the XL is just too big for my lifestyle.

I also thought about that I'm in the "fluffier" size of things right now (ha) and wearing bulky clothes. Maybe it's work for me in the Spring time.

Still love MK though!
