When I started collecting Coach a few years ago, I remember a lot of women (Coachies and non-Coachies) would add scarves, charms and key rings to their bags. Do any of you still do that? Post pics if you like. Just curious.

You'll want to look at the "What bag are you carrying today" thread, the Mod shots thread, the Coach in action thread, all the Clubhouses...you'll find literally thousands of photos of people doing just that.

I used to do scarves AND fobs. Now I usually just do a fob/keychain. I guess when wearing infinity scarves (even in spring/summer) became so popular some years back, putting a scarf on a handbag too was overkill. So to me, scarves on bags look dated now. Of course, now the wearing of scarves has fallen by the wayside around here. But scarves on bags have yet to make a comeback. I can only speak for where I live: upper South/lower Midwest.

I enjoy adding key fobs or scarves to bags. Depends on what I am wearing. Just have fun and do what you enjoy.:smile1:

Thanks for the input. I haven't seen too many decorated bags in my area (Washington, DC) lately. I was curious. Right now my new mini Christie doesn't have any decor but she does look cute with a scarf.

Personally, I like to carry plain bags but I am also a pretty plain and simple girl. I have seen some bags look really good with the added scarves.

I think a dark brown plain bag with a royal blue/white print scarf would look good!

You ladies have cute bags and accessories! My bags are usually naked but once in a while I add a key fob or scarf.

Loca Lady--I just got a small silk scarf in a Value Village (yeah, the thrift store!) for 99 cents. Just a thought.
