Decluttering / downsizing advice: which 5 bags should I keep?

It'd be helpful to know what colors they all are! If I voted to keep a lime green Chanel, then maybe I want to change my vote!

Also, I voted to keep the Valextra, but I don't know that you'll get a lot of money back for it. Obviously, keep the Kelly since they're hard to come by. And, I voted to keep the Chanel Reissue because it's an understated bag that you can wear on occasions where you don't want to have a logo.

What a lovely collection of classics, I don't think you could go wrong whichever 5 you decide to keep.
My overall recommendation would be to keep the ones you use the most. The frequency of use trumps colour imo.
Then I would make sure I had atleast one formal and one casual bag in the five (here I think the Chanel's have an advantage as they can be dressed up or down, whereas imo Kelly and Iside are quite formal and Picotins and Lindys are decidedly casual).
Lastly, I would make sure to have one small, medium and large bag (exact ratio again depends on what you prefer to carry)

I think I will put the other five in a storage box for three months and see if I can survive with only 5 first. If I don’t use or miss those 5, I may give away 1-2 to my mum and sis and then sell the rest of them. But if my shopping addiction comes back, I will open the box and pick one out for use.

I've set a max limit of around ten bags for myself, so I think your collection seems pretty perfect. Maybe there is one or two of your bags that are the same/similar in style and size that you can give away or sell, like one of the Picotins? I know some here have a one bag in, one bag out type rule to keep purchasing "under control".
Considering where on the internets we are, I think ten bags or under is very moderate, even minimalist. At least that's what I tell myself. And my husband

Somehow I feel a bit troubled when I m picking which bag to use before I leave home each day while my husband is waiting for me picking & matching outfits with bags ..... if you know what I mean and how he looks at me ...

If you feel you need to downsize, of course, you should. I think it's just that many of us feel you have a beautiful collection that is in no way exaggerated (in tPF terms : )
Silly suggestion maybe because I'm guessing it's not really the problem, but couldn't you choose your outfit and bags for the day after, at some other time when your hubby is not there to see? Maybe in the afternoon/evening instead of in the morning? And it'll make mornings less stressed

Chanel is my favorite so I voted to keep the reissue and classic flap. I want to get a Kelly 28 so voted for that one too.
I love my Garden Party but it can be a bit big and heavy, so the Valextra tote my be a better choice.
