I have and love both! Definitely a tough decision. My vote is for chanel flap because (as someone else mentioned), their price increases are even more outrageous than LV! Get the chanel flap first then the LV alma next.

I have both - I love my alma but the flap is in another league. The black with GHW is gorgeous. I have a double flap. If you are going the pre-loved route, I would suggest a single flap even though it will be older.

If you decide on the Chanel flap, consider getting it in caviar, it won't be tdf buttery soft like the lambskin but it's lower maintenance.
