Deciding between two classic flaps... Opinions greatly appreciated! :)

Hi! I recently bought a pre-loved jumbo black caviar Chanel classic flap with ghw. I am looking to buy a second, smaller bag and (also pre-loved) in a colour other than black and I am looking for something well-priced so I have narrowed it down to two options after a LOT of research. Which do you guys like more?! I am so torn.

Option 1: Extra mini in red calfskin with matte ghw. 17 series. Condition seems to be very good (meeting with the seller to try on and will see for myself).

Comes with: Authenticity card, dustbag, Entrupy certificate.

Option 2: Rectangular mini in metallic silver lambskin with rhw. Condition described as “needing a spa” by seller. Price is very good.

Comes with: authenticity certificate from Zeko.

Please let me know your guys’ opinions! I’d love to hear your thoughts :)

They both look gorgeous! I would probably go for the red calfskin. While the silver lambskin looks nice, it does look like it needs some work done. With that in mind, you may have to take the cost of spa into account, and it may round-up around the same price as the red calfskin. Also, an authenticity card would be useful if you ever consider reselling it.

Honestly, between these two I would choose neither and save for a different bag. The extra mini is just too small to be practical, and I agree the metallic silver lambskin looks like it’s not in great shape. I would rather use the spa money to put towards another bag and save for another couple months. Sorry, I know that’s probably not what you wanted to hear but that’s what I would do!

Okay exciting new development! Thank you guys so much for taking the time to reply and for your honest responses because as soon as I read them I knew you guys were totally right and that’s what I deep down wanted to do too. SO instead of buying a bag that I wasn’t in love with that also wasn’t practical I kept searching and just this morning I found something else I am obsessed with!! It is more expensive than the two I posted above but I have been saving up for a second Chanel bag and I would rather spend more on something I love and will use than settling on something that I just kind of like because of price. I went with a beige caviar rectangular mini with shw. 11 series, comes with dustbag, box, authenticity card, and Entrupy certificate.

The second pic shows the colour under natural light (less yellow than the studio photographs). I am truly in love with her... THANK YOU BOTH so much, I’m so glad I took your advice and didn’t settle!!

Agree! But if I HAD to chose, I would pick the red extra mini. GL!

I would pick red over silver However the red is too small. You made the right choice for a caviar bag. I’m in love!!!!!

Thank you so much!! I agree, it’s way too small. I was going to go try it on to test if my phone would fit inside which should have been a sign in and of itself... I appreciate your kind words, I‘m in love too!!
