I think I’ve narrowed it down to 2 bags. Wanting a crossbody - love the look of the Deauville Mini but also think the Alma BB in DE is so classy looking.

I like them both! So I guess I am not much help! I like the vintage vibe of the deauville and the classic shape of the alma bb. I think the alma bb can be dressed and also be casual--while to me the deauville is more casual. So it depends on what you are looking for.
The Alma BB is the most iconic in Épi. If you'd choose canvas, the Deauville feels like the stronger candidate.
I have the Deauville mini in mono and love it! I think it is a fantastic crossbody, great shape, classic look and it does fit a lot - definitely more casual of the two when looking at the Alma as well. Having said that, I love the Alma BB and hope to own one in DE or Epi the future! The Deauville might be a slimmer profile crossbody though, and the Alma looks lovely hand held if those are considerations... both are beautiful so I can see why it is so hard to pick just one.
I’ve had the Alma BB in DE, Epi and Vernis. It’s a beautiful, functional chic little bag. It’s comfortable to carry, easy to use, holds a lot and can be dressed up or down. I think it’s the most versatile of the two. i must say, DE is my absolute favorite in this bag, and it never fails to draw compliments. Good luck choosing, as both are great!
I love the mini deauville and it’s rapidly become one of my favorite bags. Lightweight, easy to access the contents and it’s soft and conforms to your body plus such a classic style. I love the way the Alma bb looks as well but find it much less user friendly and am contemplating selling mine.
