Hi everyone,
I'm on my third Neverfull (the first two were MM's in the red and rose ballerine linings, but they weren't quite big enough for my needs). I purchased a preloved 2016 Damier Ebene GM Neverfull from Fashionphile over a year ago to serve as my work horse (also because I prefer the old lining).
Today I had a day off and was casually strolling through a local Barnes & Noble with my bag cinched. I go back to my car to find that one of the cinching straps has broken/tore off. I was so shocked, because there was no force of any kind on the bag and I know those straps are very durable (having worn the DE Neverfull's for years with work laptops, books, makeup, etc. loaded in them).
I'm going to send a repair quote through LV tomorrow, but I was just curious - has anyone else experienced this with their DE straps before? I find it absolutely bewildering. And I'm absolutely devastated by the damage (granted I know my lining isn't very pristine
).
Pictures attached for reference!
