When I was looking at how people styled DE to decide how versatile it is, I saw tons on pics of people wearing it with outfits that would normally have a black bag. Like mostly black outfits or black and grey and ones with no brown in it at all.

What do you think about that? Do you or would you wear DE that way? Is it a new way to match, brown bag with a black outfit? Or does it not really coordinate, it’s just people wearing a DE bag to wear it regardless?

I tend to pair bags depending on their shape and structure to my outfits. So speedy with casual outfits as it's kinda travel laid back kinda bag..so any slouchy type bag with casual attire. If I had a more structured looking bag say like a croisette then I'd pair it with a more put together outfit. So I wouldn't necessary wear DE for mainly black or grey outfits. Just depends on shape of bag for me.

I take color and shape into account when deciding on bags. My fall/winter/early spring outfits are generally more structured...blazers, cardis, button downs with jeans or a longer skirt. Summer in the South calls for looser clothes, so less structure, lighter colors.

I love wearing black with brown. No issues here. I have 4 DE's and love wearing them. Doesn't matter with what. Neverfull MM, Speedy 30B, Pochette Accessories and Cles. However, that being said, if you don't care for it, then don't do it. You got to wear what you love. Be you!

Every time I think I want another black bag, I remember that I have my DE bags, lol. I do not wear prints that much if at all and find that DE goes with everything in my closet. I am now retired and my wardrobe is definitely more casual. I do have the obligatory black bag if I need something more formal. To me, a black bag is just that, a black bag. It does not have to be designer or luxury to look good on the rare occasion that I may wear it.
