DBTY silver diamond studs upgrade?

Hello, ladies!

I would like to ask if Tiffany would upgrade my DBTY silver diamond studs for a bigger sized diamonds?

My fiancee got me a 0.06ct studs and while I am very grateful and happy they are SO SMALL! They literally sink in my ear holes and I'm afraid one day I am gonna lose those because they just going to go all the way through and fall out from the back of my ears. (I hope the description makes sense)

I know silver line is considered a cheapy one so would Tiffany even bother to consider an upgrade? I would hate to sell my fiancee's gift on eBay etc for funding a new pair, but exchanging them at Tiffany's doesn't sound so bad.

It was a BD gift in August and finding a check will be challenging, but I will give it a try. Good to know it's theoretically possible, for some reason I thought their upgrade policy is for $1000+ items only.

you can exchange them if you go back to your original SA, if had SA's do exchanges 5-6 months after purchase but it's completely at their discretion.

From what I recall the exchange policy is about 30 days so they would unlikely exchange the earrings unless your sales associate makes an exception for you. I have a dbty pendant (about $2200? so more than the $1000 you had mentioned) and asked at the store if they will allow upgrades and the answer I got was no and that they only allow upgrades on engagement rings.
