DBTY bracelet - how long should It be?

I got a Tiffany DBTY bracelet to pair with my Cartier Love. Here is the link with some photos(Cartier Love with DBTY).

I love the look together with the Love bracelet. The problem is the DBTY bracelet gets tangled or gets stuck below Love. Also, the diamonds do flip over. The DBTY bracelet was shortened to 6.5"(my wrist is around 5.5"). Do you think I need to shorten it more and wear it tighter?

Would be interested in how you wear your DBTY bracelets.

I wear mine so its a bit tighter and it prevents it from shifting around, the bezels still flip sometimes but I think thats the nature of the design...

my silver ones I have not made shorter and they still tangle amongst themselves but I just didnt want my gold and platinum ones to tangle.

How tight do you wear yours? I am thinking i should shorten it maybe another 0.3 or so.

I used to wear my DBTY bracelet with my love bracelets, ended up sold the DBTY as it leaves massive scratches on the love bracelets. be careful. (My pictures in the Tiffany reference thread).

Thanks bb10lue. I just looked up your pictures. Mine is .30 tct not .41 tct So far it seems ok. The culet is not sticking out too much. Hopefully it will be ok. How tight did you wear yours? I am still trying to figure out how much more I need to shorten.

you said the culet is not sticking out too much?? I'm not too sure the .11 tct difference would be more or less likely to scratch the bracelet?

Yours was platinum, right? That might also be a factor. Mine is YG. I will just have it shortened. My husband thinks I am being silly obsessing over this.:p

I like the look of the bracelet with the cartier but not the fact that the diamonds are on one side. I recently got a DBTY necklace and the diamonds are on both sides so no matter if it flips it looks finished. I wonder if you could find one with diamonds on both sides. Might help prevent scratching.
