Hi everyone!

I am considering two watches now.....the first is the classic SS white face Rolex Daytona and the other is the Cartier Ballon Bleu in two tone SS/rose gold with diamond markers. What do you guys think? I love the look of both. Also, do you think the ballon bleu will look dated eventually? I have a SS pasha that I sometimes think looks a bit passe.

Cartier - my age group has been buying Rolex's for 30 years. They look dated to me, unless they are all 18ct gold.
This Cartier has gold on it so it will maintain some value.

But I'd buy what looks good on you. Try them on. Look at your whole arm not just the watch. Think about your style & what works best.

I just got a two tone rose gold/ss ballon bleu with mop face and I absolutely love it. I also debated a long time about Cartier vs Rolex. In the end, I tried both on multiple times, and the BB actually looked better on my wrist. Not sure why, I think the lugs on the Rolex were a bit much for me. Who knows? Try on lots of watches, don't let sales people push you around, take pics of yourself and compare, take someone who knows your taste--and I'm sure one of those watches will come out the front winner!

I think I would go for the Daytona but they are both such different watches. I personally love the BB more but my favorite part is the Roman Numerals so with the diamonds you don't have that.

They are both gorgeous though
