Rouge Vif - it's beautiful red. Suppose it depends if you're a pink or red person, though, as both are lovely colours.

I am personally a big fan of the rouge VIF. I have a city. But 2005 magenta is beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen it in person. I guess it would depend on the condition. I assume both are used?

Back to topic - I would probably go for the Rouge Vif, it's such a lovely true red.
Magenta - I wonder if I remember seeing threads about this fading, or if I'm confusing it with a pink from another year.
