David yurman ss necklace in pouch

I am redoing my jewelry storage

My yurman ss and diamond necklace is in a HUGE box I wear it once a wk or so for over a yr an so far I'm lucky no tarnish

If I want to store it in something smaller is it ok to use a spare Tiffany pouch or will this increase risk of tarnish?

I would keep it in the box.

Pouch is fine. You can always clean it.

I would put it in a plastic baggie (like those "dime" bags that jewelry come in) with a piece of anti-tarnish paper if you want to be extra careful about tarnish. Then you could put it in the pouch to prevent it from scratches.

ETA: exposure to air is what usually causes slight tarnish over time, so the plastic baggies are good for preventing this.
