David Yurman ring - is this normal?

I bought a Prasiolite petite Wheaton ring that looked a beautiful light green online. In person it is almost totally clear and transparent. Like a (very slightly) green tinted diamond with a giant window. I have only had the darker DY colors - topaz, amethyst, citrine, garnet, etc....is this just what prasiolite is like our is this a poor quality stone? It’s definitely authentic. Thank you!

That’s pretty much the same colour as 99% of the prasiolite I’ve seen. A very, very pale green. It’s beautiful, btw!

I’ve seen several variations in Praia olive colors. Mine is a little darker, from the DY boutique. Wow this close up is making me realize it needs some cleaning lol. Your ring is beautiful!

So even how it's almost clear in middle (that is not just the light, it's has a big clear window) is common? I don't mind a pale green if it's everywhere. This just seems like a diamond with slightly greenish borders!

I can return it. Just wondering if this is the norm for DY rings in this color or if I got an exceptionally light one.

I have the exact same ring, and I’ve compared many in the boutiques. It’s a beautiful ring and yours shows as it should.
