David Yurman Return Policy

I was able to return a yurman piece to Neiman Marcus last year without a problem. An ex-boyfriend had given it to me, and I never wore it. I got a store credit.
my bf bought me a ring and we've been waiting for it to come in for a couple weeks now. i loved it when we bought it but now all this extra time, is making me rethink it. Is it true they wont accept any returns at all just due to the fact that I don't want it? haha I know its a long shot but just wondering..
did you buy it from david yurman's website or store?

did you have a special size or alterations done on it? if so, then i'd check with the store about whether that makes it final sale or not.
