David Yurman cable bracelet?

I purchased an Amethyst bracelet off eBay after I got a little bid happy and won the listing. I paid $120 for it which isn’t bad. The seller has 100% positive feedback.

It came and I immediately decided to get it authenticated because it didn’t look like my authentic. The gold part looks less prominent. I know it’s hard to authenticate jewelry.

The authentication company said its authentic. But I still just don’t know. If I get it authenticated the only other place that I can find to authenticate DY charges $20. I already paid $10 for my previous one.

Sure if it will give you peace of mind. But it sounds like you don’t love it.

I am not an authenticator for jewelry, but have you looked at the hallmark on the bracelet and compared it to the one you already have? I assume you have since you have had it authenticated. It should look similar to the picture below. This one is the cable bracelet with the gold tips. This is usually pretty consistent with David Yurman jewelry. My guess is that it may be from a different year as things change with jewelry just as with other products. If you do not like it, see if the seller will accept a return, but I would not accuse them of selling a replica if you have had it authenticated.

Could tell immediately by looking at that bracelet that you’ve been sold a fake I’ve seen lots of Yurman and this definitely is not authentic. I would contact the seller and say you took it to a DY store and they said it was fake and ask for a return.

I’ve noticed that eBay is crawling with fake Yurman. If a seller is selling a ton of Yurman all at once it’s definitely an authenticity red flag.

OP, I am not a jewelry authenticator so I can’t say for sure, but your end caps do look different. Sometimes our gut instincts speak volumes.
