I feel silly asking this, but what is the proper way to put on a DY bangle. DO you pull it apart or twist it? Please help. I don't want to ruin my new bracelet! Asking about both the Cable classics and the Petite Wheaton (one with hook). Also what is the proper fit of the Wheaton- the small is just right (no room to fit my finger through) and the medium has just enough room to fit my finger? TIA

I pull my apart slightly to slide it on my wrist from the side and then squeeze it back together. Had all of my DY bracelets for many, many years and have never noticed any sort of issues with opening and closing, nor any wear issues.
