Dated?

I'm considering buying a Jennifer Meyer Small Leaf Diamond Necklace in YG for an everyday classic necklace.

I'm wondering though if it might be a trendy has-been that will feel dated in a year or two?

I think that necklace is stunning & I'd wear it in five years time, its not dated at all...... If you love it buy it & enjoy wearing it for years

I think it's a gorgeous piece that IMO wouldn't look dated anytime soon, if ever. I'd wear it 50 years down the road if I had one.

I was wondering the same thing about the Jennifer Meyer wishbone pieces. too trendy? I love the idea but wonder if the "wishbone" theme is just a trend (they are EVERYWHERE) right now, not a classic piece. I own Jennifer Meyer hoop earrings and a thin diamond band ring and love them, but they will never go out of style.

As for me, it is trendy. I would get tired of it in a year or two.
I believe that if you are looking for a classy everyday item and have this question, probably it is worth looking at something else...

I think it is pretty classic, it's nature themed and simple in design, so I think it can be a signature piece and timeless!

Well, on the one hand, it's not like trees and leaves will ever go out of style, but I got a Me + Ro necklace about 8 years ago with sanskrit writing, because I'm into yoga, and I thought it would be unique to me. I had NO CLUE that they would be copied by every trendy brand out there for $15.

Her pieces are so pricey for what they are...I bought some disc drop earrings a few years ago and I hardly wear them. I was so into them and looked constantly at Barneys and Ylang23. If you get the leaf I hope you really love it. Don't regret your purchase like I do. Personally I wish I put the money into VCA.
