Date stamps on Kelly watch bands-HELP!!

Hi all-

I did a search on this but could not find the answer-

I am shopping on ebay for a Kelly watch. I noticed that the bands are stamped with a date stamp. Are the watch bands stamped the same way as the handbags and other goods? For example, a Y in a circle would mean the watch is from 1994?

That is my HG Hermes watch.

ggirl, yep. Usually the watch bands have a year stamp. The alphabet denotes the year of production.
