Yes, last night I went to bed dreaming of the dark brown metallic. This morning I have been comforted by the pictures of the dark red.

Hey Toni, it should start arriving in stores anytime between now and March. Only Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman ordered the dark red 2.55 (none of the Chanel boutiques).

Do you know what size NM ordered it in?

No, but I did ask my NM SA yesterday to confirm that I was on the reserve list for the 227 and she said she would call me back only if they were NOT getting the 227 and she hasn't called back.

Also, it looks like Molly (gators) knows for sure that NM is getting the 227 size.

My goodness...I didn't know the dark red is going to be a metallic red. Its so gorgeous!! Seems like S/S 08 is devoted to metallic reissues. Too pretty!

There are so many pretty metallic colors for the reissues for S/S 08! The dark red looks like another winner (along with the dark brown, purple, and navy)! I wish they had fun pretty colors like these for the classic flaps.
