I am looking for my perfect navy in quilted caviar M/L flap. I don't want a very shiny caviar but a little shine is ok. I am open to SHW or LGHW. I prefer a really dark navy, almost black. I know there have been many navy shades in recent years. Please help me in my search, which season's navy should I keep a look out for. Thanks in advance.

I know it’s quite off on the criteria... just sharing that my favorite Navy of all time is the 18S!!! Okay, I love it because it’s iridescent and not too dark (I know you’re looking quite for the opposite haha). It’s really the sister of the elusive 18S Emerald green. Large grain caviar and just so sturdy! Waiting for Chanel to go back to these kinda caviar for their flaps!
I have a mini that matches your description and it’s from 18B. However, I don’t remember if it also came in M/L.
Side by side with the black.

This one is from 20S and might be a little too shiney for you? Just sharing so you know what collection not to look at if you don’t like the shine to this one.
19B. Beautiful dark navy, near black shade, the M/L was even edge stitched for this color. Perfection for what you are looking for.

It looked really dark in the photo my SA sent me, glad I took it. It’s such an easy blue to wear.
Hopefully Chanel will do something similar in the future.
This is 18B next to black. It is still navy, but very close to black.
I agree with the above 18b and 19b. 20s is dark like 19b but more shiny. I have 20c navy which is a blueberry navy with a hint of shine.
I'm not sure which season. My hubby bought it in the Chanel store at the Paris airport a few years ago. Unfortunately, he didn't know to ask about seasons!Wow.. that hot pink lamb!! May I ask which season this bag was from?
Hi @Zixi1000, is this 18B Marine Blue colour? May I ask your opinion about this colour, if you find the colour is a bit hard or easy enough to mix and match with another colour e.g army green? I'm eyeing one bag in this colour but go back and forth because I'm afraid I still want the black after purchasing this and cannot try nor take a look at the colour directly in the store. Hi @gabigabi, I don’t know the name of this blue but I found it’s extremely versatile. I purchased this blue and my black mini at the same time but my black mini is still brand new because I always reach for the blue one
Ultimately it will come down to your preference. I put it side by side with the black one against a dark green coat for you to compare.
