Damier vs MC tactile-ly

Does Damier canvas feel different to the touch than MC? My Damier is a bit rougher I think? What are your opinions? Thanks in advance.

actually...my damier speedy feels softer than the mono, but my duomo is a bit tougher than my popincourt haut

I've been hearing that the Damier Speedy is a bit of a softer Damier Canvas. I have a Ribera mini and it feels stiffer than my mono petite bucket. I would have thought it would be the same, it's all canvas with a print right? But an SA said that it depends on lining and style too. I'm pretty paranoid bc I just got my Ribera from ebay and for only a few hundred less than in stores.
