I’m debating on acquiring my first DA piece, probably Graceful. The dilemma is that all of my SLG are monogram. So I guess I will need a wallet, either a pochette accessories and/or cosmetic pouch, I like to organize in this fashion. Part of me thinks since the other stuff stays in the bag it’s no biggie, just get a wallet. But my OCD kicks in. I just can’t wrap my head around these prices just so it’s all matching, just to have one bag in this pattern. I could just buy the Maida in Turtledove and will be the same, if not less.

Any opinions are welcome.

You're already using your SLGs in a non-matching bag if you don't yet have an LV bag. So what's the problem? Something's drawing you to the Damier Azur, and again, what's the problem? Nobody says you must match your patterns--and again, you're already violating that rule.

So, not sure I follow what you're asking about.

Wow! I wasn’t clear in the post, I have mostly monogram LV bags, with the exception of 2 LE empriente, and Carmel. This would be my first DA bag. I was asking about mono and DA mixed.

Oh that's different, lol. Yes of course it's fine to mix--if it's fine to you. It's fine to me, I've always mixed prints, but I know TPF has members who prefer to match. One thing to consider is that the Mono and DE are so hardy in terms of not attracting transfer, so those canvases are very practical for SLGs. How fun to be branching out to DA!

Thanks for the help. I will think about it a bit more. I really want to try something new!

Ugh! I feel your pain. I love both prints but I do not like them together! I have epi/empreinte SLGs that I use with both prints. I totally get that some people love to mix and match but I do not like the way the different canvases look together. I have a mono Sarah wallet that I only carry with my mono bag. The rest of my SLGs are leather, in colors that compliment my DA and Mono bags. Good luck!

Thanks! If I buy it, I’m gonna go all in. I have 2 cream empriente Neverfulls so I will get additional use out of them.

I have a pre-loved DA; it's a lovely pattern, especially this time of year. But I'm the opposite in terms of my SLGs. You look in that DA and you'll find a DE cosmetic pouch, an Epi wallet in Piment and the Mono 6-key holder.

But...I do admit, it always looks nice when I pull the DE cosmetic pouch out of my DE Speedy...so, I get it.

Please show us pics once you're all coordinated!

Confused! How have the pieces held? Amy yellowing or transfer? Realistically, the wallet is the only thing that gets regular pulled out of the bag. I even access the pouch by just having the bag on the table. But I do love the pattern.

Haha... I guess I just prefer variety! All my pieces have held up well. The DA bag I have was yellowing when I purchased it and I did a lot of DIY Spa Treatment and So it really looks great. I never had color transfer from clothing, though. Here she is...the Saleya.

@ChampagneandChakras I too have OCD lol and love matchy matchy. So just posting to say I understand where you are coming from:heart:. I can't wait to see which purse you choose:loveeyes:
