Can anyone attest to the quality of the neoprene material? I'm wanting the extra small laptop bag, and I'm wanting to take advantage of cyber week deals, but I still think that would be a waste of money if it got ruined, which one of the reviewers say happened after the rain got their bag once. Other places say that material isn't supposed to be in the heat much at all.. so I have my questions about if it's good everyday bag material. Then again, I don't know why they'd make it out of that if it wasn't going to last or they'd get complaints galore.

I've seen countless other good reviews though, but I'm on the fence still. Can anyone help out?

Late to this party but I really wanted to warn users on this forum. The Dagne Dover neoprene has a few quality flaws. I own the Dagne Dover Landon. It is a well-designed bag and the neoprene is thick. However, the neoprene pilled within the week (there are many complaints about this on the reviews on their own site).

Even worse though, it smells like gasoline, despite having aired the bag out for 2 weeks and washing with soap. The smell never goes away, and it is strong enough to make the rest of my closet smell like gasoline. I would recommend avoiding their products until they can fix these 2 major issues.

I ordered the Landon carryall in medium mainly because it looked really cute in the pomelo color and it was sale for $89. It came with some dirt inside from the factory and the paintjob on the hardware is poor. It's not worth full price. I haven't used it yet but I don't expect the neoprene to be durable (sad!).
