I got it from fashionphile in excellent condition, it looks the same as a pouchette I have that has been used only one time. But I can't help but feel like it looks dirty. Is this how it normally looks? I watched cleaning videos on you tube and started with baby wipes which pulled off no dirt at all. Trying to decide if I should buy that whitening dog shampoo to clean it or if this is just the normal appearance of DA, then I won't bother. Thanks!

A reader can't get any realistic idea of the coloration from a photo magnified grossly out of scale, as here. It's not seen by the eye at this giant magnification. So: Post a photo of the whole item normally, from a short distance, and in natural lighting. If you want to show a detail of the canvas, make it at 100% and not 400% or whatever this is. Then we can see what it looks like.

Regardless, DA is a creamy shade and not white, so definitely do not apply any whitening product. For that matter, using baby wipes is also risky unless you're very sure there's no chemical agent that impacts canvas (it has to at least be alcohol free).

This picture was taken with my phone without flash at a close distance and not magnified.
There are multiple videos on you tube of people using this method to clean their DA with great results.

The image is grossly distorted, not flat and with some squares sizing up to 2 1/4" square here. It simply is not 1:1 with the print. DA canvas is unusual enough to require good, true to the eye imaging. Anyway, I'm guessing you received the color it really is and should be.

@TC1 the background shade is off white/creamy with a sort of taupe or warm-gray overprint, and yes the dark color is a dark navy.

I posted a close up pic to show up close. To see if someone could tell if the canvas appeared dirty. Not understanding how the measurements of the squares matters in this assessment

I used water wipes, no alcohol

I think @jellyv is just saying that clearly anything that is this enlarged can distort the appearance. That being said...the bag looks pristine to me. I would just enjoy..and yes don't use any wipes that aren't 100% natural.
