D rings on old school Wine Nikkis

I'll take a look at mine when I get home. I think this is common among the old school bags. My hunter green MAB has faded brass d-rings but the main clasp is still brass.

Oh look. The RBBBW MAM has this same issue.

My wine Nikki looks ok maybe slight fading. This bag is basically brand new.... No sign of wear inside or out. I really hit the jackpot with this bag! My hunter green MAB has the faded d rings.

LOL I don't see it either @Antonia! Especially on the Hunter Green one! Man, I can never get tired of looking at Wine Nikkis. That bag photographs so well.

I have it on a mini nikki w cc lining
Idk what else will have to look. When I polish the brass I don't notice. When I compare it to silver it doesn't look silver either, but is a lighter color. I have a Nikki just like that I'll try to check it.
