It was hard to watch him deconstruct an Alto that appeared to be in good condition.
Nice to hear that he thought it was a quality bag and worth the price.

His comments on the ostrich were disappointing, but not unexpected.
I love the Dooney ostrich embossed handbags, and I have quite a few.
But I know the leather isn't very thick. As for the reality of the ostrich embossing,
and its attractiveness, that's a personal opinion.

I have a lot of embossed leather exotics from Dooney and a few,
real exotics too. The only ones that look 'real' are those done in
shades of brown and cognac. Even if you are dealing with the
real exotic, if it's dyed pink or green, it might be beautiful,
but it doesn't look real in my opinion.

I like that he does this and explains the construction and materials. It’s really hard to watch him cut into those beautiful bags. But I appreciate him showing the leather, and explaining the cost of materials and cost to make. Also the scraping of the leather is fascinating.
