Cute, Flirty dresses for hourglass figures?

Spring is coming and I'm already thinking of cute dresses. I have a really hard time finding them, though, as I've got a large bust, small waist, and large hips. Any suggestions for brands I should look out for or places to shop?

Try Calvin Klein. If you're not a fan of paying retail, look for CK dresses at TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross

I have an hourglass figure as well, and I have found that CK dresses fit me better than any other brand.

Something about a V-neck (it doesn't have to be too low) always flatters an hourglass figure - keep that and a cinched waist in mind when shopping.

Things best avoided are anything where your waist isn't shown off

'Fit and flare' or belted draped front dresses will accentuate and enhance. Brands like Calvin Klein and Donna Karan do them best but there are others more inexpenseive

Silk-jersey or any tight-knit wrap dresses on or slightly below should also suit. DvF made the ultimate - look for consignment or outlets for the real deal.


Keep away from high-shine fabrics or any thin fabrics that crease/cling/pucker
