i was interested in seeing some custom wedding bands you ladies may wear with your engagement ring. I have an irregularly shaped e ring and am having the hardest time finding a matching band. My ring is a split shank halo with a cushion center but the split shank is also the "envelope" style (it connects in the center).

many have suggested to wear a band on each side , i dont know if im too crazy about the idea.
I even spoke to my fiance about possibly resetting my ring (keep the halo design just change it to 1 band) but i dont want to offend him, which i think it might do.

Any advise would be appreciated.

if you want the wedding band to sit flush, you can have a jeweler make the band such that it sits against the ering with no gap--it's just gonna be shaped in a way that would fit with your ering. the jeweler i went to for my ering in the nyc diamond district does this and i'm sure all jewelers do too.

i personally love the gap. makes the set look bigger and sort of effortlessly chic

You could pretty easily have a jeweler make you a band that is curved to sit at least pretty close to the band. It would look funny on it's own if you were ever to wear it without the engagement ring, but with the engagement ring it would be beautiful.

I would just get a thin band, the same width as the bands on your engagement ring, make it one row of diamonds in an eternity style and have it curved to fit. It would work very well. :smile1:

I wouldn't change your engagement ring at all, I think it's beautiful, your fiance did an amazing job picking it out.

i walked into a random jewelry store and found this "custom" band designed for another ring. I tried it on with my ering and walllllllaaa perfect match. I took pictures of it together and separate as a reference for the jeweler that designed my ring. When time comes i will have her design the same type of ring :)
thank you for everyone's help !
