Custom made Gucci shoes?

Does anyone know if Gucci has ever or still custom makes shoes?
I ask that because I actually bought a pair of used ones the other day (for my mom which did not fit). They say Gucci made in Italy for J.M. Has anyone ever heard of that? Pics below thanks!
