Custom duty within EU

Does the recipient need to pay custom duty if I ship bag from France to Italy? My store doesn't ship outside of France. Any recommendation on the carrier? Thanks.

There are no customs/duties/taxes etc between EU countries. What carrier to recommend depends on what kind of service you need and what kind of item/value.

EU is a customs union, so no duties. depending on the value you may use Collissimo or DHL and similar.

thank you both. i thought it shouldn't be. i couldn't understand why the store wouldn't ship outside of france and thought may tariff was the issue. thanks for the clarification.
