Hi Ladies,
So I had this diamond necklace I got from MIL a few yrs back. I didn't like the setting but loved the DBTY look so I finally found a jeweler I liked that would do it for me. I chose the necklace chain I wanted but now I'm having second thoughts. Do you think it's too shiny? I feel like I should have picked the one that's less shiny (sorta the one that look like Tiffanys). Anyhow, I love the necklace regardless and wanted to share with you guys.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Love the necklace, love the chain :tup:

I think the extra sparkle in the chain brings attention to your diamond, which is really gorgeous. I often substitute a diamond-cut chain I have for the standard thin chains that come with gold pendants. To me, the chain is an intricate part of the necklace and should be as special as what's hanging from it!

If it looks too shiny to you, right now, it's probably because you're expecting it to look like the Tiffany's one. Personally, I love the shine of the chain you picked. It's a beautiful necklace!

It's perfect. I had a tincup necklace made with some extra pearls and I felt like you did in the beginning(same chain), but now I love it cuz the chain always looks new and sparkly. Your necklace is beautiful!
