What would a 40cm birkin in togo be right now? I remember I saw a 40 cm HAC in black fjord sometimes in winter at NYC and it was about $7000...did the price go up again?

maybe other stores are cheaper?? but the two 30cm birkins I got from the SF store in July & Aug were 7150 & 7350 respectively.

my SA told me that a 35cm started at around 7500.

these prices are all pre-price increase btw. since price increase I have yet to see a birkin so I don't know the new prices.

according to news though prices should be up 10% at least.

The 32cm black Kelly, was that souple? My apologies, ladies, the price I quoted above of $6500 was for a rigide/sellier which I was looking at on Friday.

Is that after the price increase? Before the increase my 32 retourne togo gold was just under $6,000...like $5,950-ish. With a 10% increase it would put it at over $6,500 now.

I'm getting confused! I would think the sellier would be getting close to $7,000 with the price increase? Could the $6,500 perhaps be a before-increase price?

Just paid (Saturday 2/9/2008) for Gold 35 cm Birkin in Togo Leather...after the price increase: USD8300...close to an 11% increase...last time I bought one was Decmber 14, 2008 and it was USD7500...don't know what the price is for basic leather though (swift?)...sorry no help there.

I paid $7150 for a 32 Kelly sellier in chevre de coromandel in NYC in November BEFORE the price increase. I was told that the sellier and the CDC are more expensive than retourne and togo and other leathers. I'm assuming that it would now be about $8000. I'm sure glad I bought it when I did as I don't think I would have done so at that price!!!!
