I actually work for Paul Mitchell and have some suggestions! Paul Mitchell is one of the first professional hair care lines to really take ethnic hair into consideration. There are a few products that I would suggest for frizzy hair:
Super Skinny Shampoo and Conditioner
Super Skinny Serum
Gloss Drops
Foaming Pommade-great on coarse hair, but use sparingly
Quick Slip
Straight Works
Round Trip-for naturally curly or permed hair
You will have better luck if you use the entire Super Skinny line-the shampoo, conditioner, and serum. The added benefit of the Skinny line is that it reduces your dry time by up to 30%. Paul Mitchell also makes a smoothing iron that is beyond awesome! All of the products are available in salons.
Please please please do not ever purchase Paul Mitchell products(or any other professional line) from anywhere other than a professional salon environment! The Paul Mitchell product you see on the shelves of grocery stores, Target, etc. is either flat out fake or "gray" market product, otherwise known as diverted product. It is an industry-wide issue that is just down right irritating for us as a company. Not only that, it can also be harmful to the consumer. We make a product called Baby Don't Cry which is a naturally tear free baby shampoo. We tested some Baby Don't Cry that was purchased in a grocery chain and it had alcohol in it, which could potentially damage a child's eyesight. Other counterfeit product tested has been found have more bacteria in it than raw sewage. Would you want to use that on your hair?????
I'm off my soap box now! Diverted/counterfeit hair care product makes me as sad as fake handbags.....
