Hi, I'm a newbie from Boston and I LOVE bags but I can never ever justify paying so much for them. I'm just asking out of sheer curiosity cause I just don't get it 
1. WHY do you pay $1000+ for a bag? How is a bag worth that much?
Unless you have money to throw away like Paris Hilton does, it just doesn't make sense to me.
2. WHERE do you all get the money from?
Unless you all are cleberities hiding behind your online ID's, it just confounds me that there really are so many women out there that have the kind of money to buy these bags.
Would love to hear your responses cause I am genuinely curious and confused. And for the record, I bought a $1700 Chanel flap bag last month, so I am guilty. I bought it simply because everyone has a designer bag (including college kids!!!), so I gotta have one! I do absolutely LOVE the bag but I still don't think its worth $1700.
