This man is not a celebrity. He’s a serving soldier and member of the royal household staff. I find it disturbing that he’s being stalked (sorry, but it’s the only word I can think of to describe it) on a public forum in this way, because he‘s a private individual who just happens to have a role adjacent to the royal family. It’s not right.

First of all, I would like politely ask you: why are you here for?
I see, you are looking for a "celebrity". Is it "Megah and Harry" thread or other not offering enough space for your qualified opinions?
And on the other hand, why is correct to talk/write so much and unpolite about Meghan and Harry, on other threads?
Nobody stalkes him- see then definition of "stalking".
He was in the public attention,and how the tabloids wrote about him was not always appropriate.
At least I try to be polite and to base my affirmations on real facts.
When he is on duty he is not a private person.
We already disscused that here, on another thread , you can check,please read the text -page 58.
Conform Wiki "Stalking" is unwanted and/or repeated surveillance by an individual or group toward another person.
Stalking behaviors are interrelated to harassment and intimidation and may include following the victim in person or monitoring them.Nobody made here something like that.

PS: and about celebrity:he is, somehow, already famous!

Here is the text which I wrote some time before regarding this subject:

"We all know that (he has a family).
And nobody in this forum -almost nobody- had said something offensive or insulting, or posted something which is not allready filmed or photogrphed from somebody else ,on official occasions, and posted on official sites (Royal Fammily Channel , Forces Net,ITV, BBC , Facebook from British Army in Scotland etc).
Nobody follow him on the streets as paparazzi, stalked him or sent him letters or triyed to phone him.
Nobody made her opinion public in Daily Mail.
And we are here in this forum not so numerous to influence a large crowd and to form a large public opinion.
The numbers of people who access Twitter and TikTok is more much higher ( not to speak abot the tabloids , in UK and abroad).
Of course he looks sometimes tired and annoyed.
When you were appointed to this kind of job, like all the others (secretary,ladies in waiting,bodyguards ) you should expect to be seen on Tv /Youtube from millions of people. Is part of your job and you have to deal with that.
Of course , for royals,actors or politicians is more much pressure then for the people who work for them.
And there is also this point:
Why is accepted as normal to see and post and comment a lot, on some official sites , for example Royal Family Channel or TV channels every movement , every word, every piece of clothing from William, Cate M.and others , even when this aspects are not relevant ????
Why should we be informed more times per day what, where, who said even a whisper or moved only the little finger or look in one or the other direction ? Or which kind of clothes they wear????
Why is that normal and relevant ???????"
And as a completion:
In your opinion,it is permitted (and heavily encourage by themselves) to admire only the members of the royal familiy ?
Our micro Thread is a soap bubble, harmless ( unless it gets in someone s eye-I mean the bubble;)).

Yesterday was with them in York and today is a new one; in fact, he is not so new, I saw him before, in Falkland or by receptions, but anyhow.....a big dissapointment..hm ...I am not at all amused.
I think JT has a day off. Or he had something else to do, for Charles.
He must be there on Rememberance Sunday,this sunday,at Cenotaph.
We are waiting for him... I hope he will not dissapoint us !

Agree. I believe I read somewhere (perhaps on the men in Kilts thread) that he has taken steps to make his on line presence private which would indicate a wish for less attention, not more, even if the attention is admiring and polite. I know this is an offshoot of the men in kilts thread and both were started with the best of intentions, but upon further reflection I am a bit embarassed by the objectification that many women would find troubling. JMO though, and YMMV.

I would like to make some remarks about this :
-why are you here ,if you are not interested in this topic ?
-all what I wrote and posted is based on verified informations, from official sites, and I gave also the links, so you can check yourself.It is not invented from myself. Please read the answer for "Pessie".
-you said qoute "I believe I read somewhere " please be so kind and tell me/us where you read this information?
-this is not as you said, an "offshoot" of "men in klits" but something new, not only about JT.

Reagarding JT, I remarked him first by Queens Funeral, not because he was handsome but because he was "another class".
After that I read about "the hot" equerry,, "candy eye", etc, terms which I never used and I found not so nice from the tabloids, because they only take some informations one from another, almost identicaly.
On the other hand, most of the informations about him and his wife were and still are in Internet (his linkedin, his wife s linkedin and on the site Horses4Health, where his wife,Caroline workes as volunteer).
So, these are not so top secret and were not obtain illegaly, they were posted by themselves..
From here, a journalist from an online magazine has concluded and wrote that she "struggled with problems"...not very nice and professional from him.
JT and his wife have closed/locked their Twitter and Facebook accounts, where are personal photos and also some twitter accounts create from others, about him, were closed.
Of course, he has all the right to do that, if the there is a legal basis and a proof that those harm his privacy or/and his reputation.
But I said also before, I do not think that we , with our mini blog are in this situation.
And even if I will not post anything, the infos and videos are still there, on variuos official sites (Youtube, UK army etc).

And again, please read carefully what I posted before and after that I invite you to express your opinion.
