Culling your collection

Hi ladies! In a recent move from city to suburb, I've been forced to come to terms with the fact that my shoe collection no longer reflects my needs. In unpacking my shoes recently, I noticed that I too often thought "lovely, but I'll never wear these again!" What do you do with your expensive, beautiful shoes that no longer serve your purpose?

Leave them on the shelf to admire and remember when I was young enough to prance around in them without knee pain

I’ll be honest, I hang onto them for a bit because they are so pretty until I can’t stand the amount of space they take up and then sell them.

I did a five year refresh of my shoes this year. Some of the out pile I gave to friends and the rest I donated to the local Cancer Society thrift store.
Good luck and Mai I add that when the time is right you will cheerfully purge.
