I had quite a collection of Céline bags, all from Phoebes tenure.

In the last 6 months I have been gradually selling my items from many Luxury brands and I’m ok with that. But I feel a little sadness at letting the Céline ones go.

I’ve let go some immaculate luggage bags for silly money just to get it over with quickly before I change my mind. I’m hanging onto my black and souris drummed ones as I still love the style and in the micro size not too big at all.

This week I sold my two cabas phantom totes, in a beautiful indigo and kohl. I loved those but just don’t need totes (or so many bags at all).

I’m not a sentimental person at all so why am I reluctant to pack them up and say goodbye :crybaby:

Anyway out of all my existing bags the one I seriously cannot stop using is my black selleria mini peekaboo. It’s just so perfect that when I change out of it I’m back in it with it days.

Bags of that era were innovative and beautifully constructed.

Over a decade ago, I purchased a mini luggage bag and carried the heck out of it. For all I put it through, it really didn't show much wear and tear. I let it go primarily because it was so heavy, but like you, I was very hesitant to sell. :flowers:

So true, one things for sure, I’m hesitant to buy much lately as quality is so poor. I still rate Fendi and some Dior bags but the quality of those days will never come back. Maybe that’s it, not sentiment

I’m about to pull one of my Trios to take to dinner. And I still want a Big Bag. They are such nice discreet pieces. It’s understandable that you’d feel a little sad parting with her pieces.

I never had a trio but they’re a great bag. And I too love the big bag, I didn’t keep mine as I found it fiddly to use but I love that style. The outlets have them at great prices if you have one near you. Enjoy dinner :flowers:

Thank you!

Re. The big bag I was wondering if it would be a little fiddly (and safe.) I just really like the look of it. They had a bunch at the Woodbury common outlet but it’s a lot for a bag that might be a little awkward.

If it’s fastened I would say it’s safe but I found it fiddly to get into (like many Célines really) you can slip your hand down the sides yourself to grab small items to save undoing it every time. I would try before you buy.

On the contrary, I finally pulled the trigger and got the classic box because my SA told me they aren’t getting any new ones and they only had a handful left. They’re focusing on the new designs and I wasn’t the Triomphe. I didn’t want to regret not getting it before they discontinued it.

Good choice. I have a medium classic in kohl with silver hardware and that one is going nowhere.

Wish I'd seen this post earlier, I've been quietly/not so quietly collecting Phoebe era bags :( And have been looking for immaculate phantom totes.

Oh that’s a shame. They sold so quickly on a worldwide site, I got less than half of retail and they were immaculate but I thought that’s all they were worth. Clearly not

I sold the ring bag. The color and leather were beautiful, but the weight was unbearable. I’ve recently purchased cabas phantom, sadly it’s Celine without accent. I’m excited about what Phoebe will offer in September.

I’m agonizing over buying the classic box in camel online as I know it will eventually disappear. Then came the announcement of Phoebe’s comeback. I can’t wait! As phenomenally elegant her designs might be she herself will be hard pressed to beat the esthetics of the classic box. It just is one of the best bags ever created.

I’ve been using it non stop since I got it! It’s such a great bag that you can use dressed up or casual. Get it before it’s gone!
