Cufflink help

My BF has cufflinks, but they are all fun pairs (like Paul Smith.) He needs some simpler, more versatile ones, but I don't want them to be too stuffy.
I would like them to be sterling, and under $250 preferably.

You can't go wrong with the Tifffany Oval cufflinks engraved with his initials, IMO. Another nice choice is the knot style, Hermes makes them and Brooks Brothers does too, they are less $$$ than Hermes. The globe ones would be my second choice, they are pretty subtle/discreet too but have a fun personal touch. My BF loves the knot style, they are his favorite cufflinks. I also like the Christofle ones that maniacalmollie posted. If your BF has a more modern style, those might be the way to go- my guy is a traditionalist so that's what I'm used to shopping for.

All good choices, but the ones that Tyler listed are my favorite from Tiffany's. I'm also considering Bulgari for my boyfriend, because like you I want to get him something with clean lines, unique, and versatile. Those are really nice! Wonder if my BF would wear them, he is sooo picky. We looked at probably 30 pairs total in SS at Hermes and Tiffany's and he found maybe 3 that he liked.

If you have a Mont Blanc near you I suggest you look at their cuff link selection - they have very nice, unique pieces.

Thanks for all of the help!I have looked at virtually every cufflink there is online-my favorites are the Hermes and Tiffany at this point. We are keeping Christmas more modest this year, so I will go with Tiffany.
I think the knot style would be a little too conservative for him, but I do want something classic.

I think I am going with those. Plus they have a cool significance for us-Paloma Picasso designed that line after her house in Marrakesh-My BF and I met and vacationed there after being on opposite sides of the earth for several months.
