I'm getting myself in a quandary. I already have this year-old beautiful black lambskin Chanel messenger which is great for weekend errands, travel and times when I don't want to sling a bigger arm- or shoulder-carry around. However, as I've found on a few occasions, I wish I had more room in the bag. I picked up this Goyard black Belvedere over the weekend and am hoping this "larger" crossbody will serve my purpose. I've always enjoyed the feedback from other forumers who provide great insights. The questions are:

1. Is two, too many small crossbody bags?
2. If I keep one, which one?
3. Which one looks better on my frame (5'2") and I'm usually wearing black.

I don't see a problem with keeping both if you will use both and can afford both. I would venture a guess that the vast majority of us who like cross body styles have way more than 2! I know I do! Another distinction between them as far as matching them to your outfit is the Chanel is a little quieter and the Goyard has a little more pop of color and interest.

The Chanel is a bit more glam and chic. The Goyard looks more utilitarian and has less brand recognition. I think both look nice and add something different (not that you should keep both), so it depends on the look you want to go for.

Use the Chanel on sunny days and when you just need the essentials (or when you feel a little girly and/or like dressing up).

Goyard is good for carrying a little bit more and also for casual days. It also seem like a good rainy day bag since it appears to be water resistant, too. I also have multiple crossbody bags and I have no regrets. Good luck!
