I'm so glad I finally found this forum ... because I have so many questions!! I'm purse shopping for a vacation and want to get the best possible small, zip top cross body purse. I'm currently thinking of taking a LV Favorite, a small LV Alba in Epi, or a Gucci Soho Disco. I love the favorite, but I think it screams "steal me" because of the damier and monogram. Is the Epi a bit more low-key and incognito? Also, same thing with the Disco. So, which would you recommend for a small, with-me-every-moment-to-carry-my-important-stuff cross body? Is there another one you love that has a super secure top (zip or lock or big flap)?

I have both the Alma and Disco and love them both equally. They probably both fit the same amount. Some find the Alma awkward to wear crossbody because it sticks out a little. I don’t mind this. If I could only have 1 in my collection it would be the Alma. If you can, try them on and let us know what you decide.
I have been reading more about the favorite, so I think it is off the list for now. The Disco is just such a good little bag! I'm also eyeing the YSL Camera Bag ... looks similar to Disco. Do you find that the top angle of the Alma makes it less useful?
Hmmm. Alma over Disco? That is good to know ... because I already have a Disco but really want the Alma, if I can justify the purchase! So, do you think it would be good for travel and also just a timeless addition to my collection? Do you find the top angle of the Alma to be awkward at all? I'll try the Alma and keep you posted
I like the Alma just not as comfortable as disco, particularly for travel. Easier to get in and out of disco for some reason. I have 2 discos. I’d choose disco over ysl.
