Today I received the Large Selma in Navy I ordered last week from michaelkors.com. I was super excited to get it.

Upon opening it, the lettering that says Michael Kors looks a little crooked.
I'm really disappointed.

IDK if I should return it and then go buy the same bag in-store (if they have it in stock) or just suck it up and ignore the flaw.

What do you think, PF peeps? Is it crooked or am I being picky? Has anyone else had a "fit and finish" issue like this with the Selma (or other MK bag)?

It's pretty common unfortunately. I got a large luggage Selma from Macy's and it was still fully wrapped and so I didn't look closely until I got it home. Had to return to get their Last One which had perfect lettering.

We see a lot of this on the authenticity thread and many think their bags are fake because of it, when they are perfectly authentic bags. This mostly happens on the saffiano bags because they are so popular and in demand, MK can hardly keep up with production and they are allowing a lot of mistakes past quality control, in order to keep up with the high demand. Hope you are able to find a better one. There are plenty of supply, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Definitely ask for an exchange and remember to check the new bag before taking it away. My DD JS xbody had crooked letters. I think the SA thought I was a bit batty when I went back asking for an exchange but it was my prerogative. Was glad I checked the replacement bag as the one they initially tried to give me looked like my 3 yr old nephew had stuck the letters on ;)

I don't think it looks too bad, but if it's going to bother you then you def should exchange.
