B30 nata ghw clemence
I accepted but am having serious doubts now. It will be my largest bag and I’m worried abt the weight of clemence and also the slouch. I don’t like slouch but do not own clemence and wanted to give it a chance since I’ve heard it’s durable and seems like others love it. Also I love togo and it’s feel and have heard clemence feels even nicer.

this bag is being shipped to me and I cannot see it before purchase. I’ve looked up pictures. I like nata in epsom and am worried nata is too yellow in clemence but it honestly could be my screen and the photos I’ve found. My HG color is craie and am waiting for that in a kelly.

Craie is much cooler than Nata which is actually quite warm - comparison pic below which hopefully you find helpful. B30 is Craie, Pico 28 is Nata.

If you do not like slouch, I recommend against Clemence. It is quite durable and a lovely leather, but will absolutely slouch over time. Clemence is also heavier than Togo.

This said, I think you will be happy with the bag; Nata really is a very pretty colour and definitely is very beautiful with GHW.

Congrats! If it’s of any help, I have an almost 5 year old clemence B30 that stands like the day I took her home. Hasn’t slouched at all!

I’ve attached a pic of my cafe Clemence b30 that I purchased in 2008. This pic was taken today. I’m not a fan of very slouchy bags so I store my bags with lots of stuffing. Almost 13 years after purchase, this one doesn’t slouch yet. 19955954-EBAC-4588-8008-69140171EE0C.jpeg

Thanks for sharing this pic...such a great visual of the color differences! I LOVE the nata in Clemence but I do love some slouch

I love the craie and the cooler tones in it. I do think nata would be a lovely year round color and am hoping that I can bring out some cool tones with a twilly. Thank you for the picture. I live your craie B

thank you! I plan on laying it on its back when not in use and putting a bag la vie pillow in it! Any other tips? I don’t carry much (my daily items fit in a square mini) so overloading isn’t an issue

Wow!

Beautiful bags!

It’s so funny how bags can show a variety of shades in different lighting. I could’ve sworn by looks alone the B30 was Gris Perle and not Craie! I love both colors regardless.

Reviving this thread. To anyone who has seen both colors, does nata have more yellowish undertones? is craie more beige? Haven’t seen craie irl but I think I like craie more. Also curious about epsom leather for both. Thanks in advance

Nata has a more creamy yellow undertone. Craie has a light gray (think smoky) almost blush undertone. Differences in tone can vary via batch, leather, and what hardware it's paired with.

I have a Nata Kelly Cut in swift. It’s a warm ivory/cream color. Warm undertones but not yellow.

I find nata in specifically Epsom to be the most warm of the bunch. And with the dark resin I don’t like this combo. The yellow really comes out in nata epsom.

Craie is a bit warmer in Epsom than Togo but still much more neutral toned than nata.

Nata in swift is the dream. Warm, buttery, and not nearly as yellow as nata in Epsom.

If choosing Epsom I would pick craie hands down. But nata in swift is something special.
