Cracking on vachetta straps

Hi everyone,

I noticed that there are two cracks in one of my vachetta straps on my vernis Houston. If I take it in for repair, will LV be able to fix the crack? Or will I need the straps replaced completely? I know the bag has been discontinued for a while. Would the straps even be available?

I am sure that they can replace it, that bag has very generic handles.

Don’t think fixing the current handle is possible, but they can be replaced as long as LV has the necessary part in repair stock. Even though it’s been a long time since it was discontinued, it was in production a long time so I bet the odds are good they still keep handles around.

Take your bag to your local LV boutique and the SA will give you a quote to replace the straps / handles. You shouldn't have any issue.
