CPR leather x Botkier handbags?

Hi all!
I have 2 botkier handbags that has denin dirty and need to be cleaned! After researching, i read CPR leather conditioning would do the work! I already went and ordered a tube of it! But im worried to used on my (mostard and cognac) botkier handbags! Anyone used it before? Does the color fade? Does work? Thanks

I would test it first somewhere. I'd be interested in the answer as well since I have some Botkier bags.
