Could anyone help me authenticate this dior gaucho?

Hi everyone.

I'm about to PAY A FORTUNE for this dior gaucho tote in winter cream...about to be listed on ebay. it's in a mint used condition, but is missing a medallion, and the seller is offering me a little over $1000 with the shipping. the seller has 100% positive feedback, and so far a very good customer service, and also a member of this purse forum...

my concern: seller doesn't offer refund, and medallion is missing.

I've attached a couple of pictures of the actual item (claims the seller) can anyone offer me some advice!?!?!?

I am no good with authenticating bags, but based on the sellers information I would say your good to go...but than again, you never know =)
