costume jewellery question

hi fellow Chanel lovers,

I do apologise in advance if there is a thread on this however I wasn’t able to find it to post my question.

I have read about a lot of people losing pearls and diamonds on their costume jewellery however I’ve never heard if there is any way to have them repaired?

just noticed that my earring I’ve worn 4 times are missing a diamond, bought it in 2018 so it’s definitely out of the one year warranty. What is my options? So frustrating as the price tag was pretty steep.

I had the back of one of my clip on costume jewellery earrings fall off I went back to the store to get it repaired the manager at the time was not very friendly just because it wasn’t a very high price item but in the end at the time I managed to get a new piece

You can bring it to your Chanel boutique and have the stone replaced. The cost is $80, or $110, depending on the boutique (used to be only $30, even the repair costs went up). Your boutique might decide to offer it as a complementary service (happened to me many times, and my items were many years out of warranty). Good luck!

Wow! That's so expensive now!
Yes go to the store you got it from or your SA and bring the receipt . They may be more willign to do it for free. I had a bag fixed for free outside of warranty by going to my SA.
I never buy any chanel costume jewelry with stones or jewels on it because I've seen way too many posts with this issue. There are really pretty costume jewelry now without jewels from Chanel. They didn't use to.

I brought my brooch in to be fixed since a pearl fell out. They had it for months only to tell me they couldn’t fix it (pre-Covid). After that I refused to buy any more costume jewelry. What a waste of money.
